The ingredient list is short: cow's milk, non-animal rennet, cultures, and salt. Most of the visible transformation therefore comes from curd moisture and rind care rather than flavorings mixed through the paste.
Dice-Sized Curds Preserve the Moisture Needed Later
Milawa pasteurizes the milk at 72°C for 15 seconds, adds cultures and rennet, then cuts the set curd into pieces slightly larger than dice.
